The report reveals the information about components of GDP in the England from 1992 to 2000.
overall, gross domestic product contributed by IT industry showed increasing trend followed by service industry except one year where IT sector declined.
In 1992, contribution to GDP by both sector was lowest 7 and 4% , respectively whereas, it was highest in the year 2000 showing 15% by IT sector and 8.1%by service sector. Moreover, IT sector showed negligible difference of 0.2% in production of GDP for the year 1994- 1996 .
Moving further, in 1996 GDP production by service sector showed percentage of 7% and it hardly rise by 0.3% in next decade. in addition, contribution in gross domestic product by IT industry in 1998 was at peak 12%, while service sector was only 7.9% percent. GDP contribution in former year by both industries showed percentage of 8.2 collectively. Furthermore, in 2000 contribution in GDP was highest 15 and 8.1 % , correspondingly as compared to other years.
