The bar chart compares the seven-day sales of coffee in two particular shop in the city of New York in 2015. The chart shows the typical sales of eight products from Club Coffee and Espresso Express, including iced coffee, Americanos and Espressos.
Overall, it is clear that Club Coffee has generally the most purchases and outsells Espresso Express in six out of eight coffee categories. On the whole, stronger coffee such as Espresso and flat whites were not as popular as weaker coffees like Cappuccinos or Cafe lattes.
Regarding to the sales at Club Coffee, Cafe lattes hit top of the list, with a standard of around 135 sold in a typical week. Cappuccinos and Americanos were the next best selling drinks, with around 115 and 110 of cups were purchased respectively. Moreover, Club Coffee marketed slightly more Decaf coffees than iced coffee, with roughly 75 of each in total being sold per week on average. However, Espressos and Caramel lattes were not nearly as favored, with just under 25 and 20 distributed individually.
On the other hand, by looking at the transactions reported by Espresso Express, Cafe latte was the number one purchase, with an average of 120 items sold in a week. Americans and Cappuccinos stood out the second and third positions, with approximately 80 and 65 of drinks were weekly purchased. In addition, Decaf coffees and Flat white were positioned at fifth place, with 50 sales, followed by iced coffees at almost 45 sales per week. However, the least popular drink in Espresso Express was Espressos with around 25 sales.
