The given charts provide information about the Little Chalfont library. They included the age distribution of library members in 2016.The total loans by category in the same year. The trend showed total number of loans from 2007 to 2016.
Overall, It is clear that libries loan activity grew over the decade, and they fictions books were most popular in 2016,and adults between 16 and 64 forming the majority of it’s member.
According to the pie chart,shows adults age distributed 18 to 64. The largest segment of the group represents in 2016, and accounting for 51% of the total while children was second largest portion was taken by at 22% followed by adults age 65 and over at 15% and young adults was similer to followed accounted for 12% of the total.
The table shows children fiction and adult fiction were the most borrowed category in 2016, each the largest segment of the accounted at 38% of total loans. Adult non- fiction was next with 13% while children non – fiction accounted for 6%. The least borrowed comprises items were children’s DVDs at 1% which is young adults aduiobooks some remained stable, accounted for 2% and 2% respectively.
The bar graph indicates a steady increase in total loans from 2007 to 2011, peaking at just about 21,000. There was a slight decline in 2012 and 2013 followed by gradualy recovery calminating in approximately 20,000 loans in 2016.
