The three different charts depict various information about Little Chalfont library associated with age of members and its total loan in 2016, and how many total loans from 2007 to 2016. Overall, there was a fluctuation trend in the figure for total loans from 2007 to 2016. In 2016, children’s fiction and adult fiction were dominant in the ratio of loans. At the same time, most Little Chalfont’s members were adults aged 18-to-64.
Regarding pie chart indicates the library member distribution by age. In 2006, a half of library members was adults aged 18-to-64. the percentage of children who were the library members accounted for 22%.Meanwhile, the proportion of library members who belonged to over 65 age group was lower than the corresponding figure for teenagers, 12% and 15% in turn.
In table chart total loan in 2016 was separated according to publication categories. 38% of total loans was children and adult’s fiction books. The percentage of children’s DVDs, adult audio books and young adults were the smallest, about under 3%. The percentage of children non-fiction (6%) doubled the equivalent of adults non-fiction.
For the total number of loans between 2005 and 2016, the total number of loans in 2007 was just around 15,000 in 2007. There was the upward trend in the figure for loans from 2007 to 2011, between 15,000 to nearly 21,000. After declining in short-term period to around 19,000 in 2014 , the total loans peaked at nearly 23,000 in 2016.
