The bar charts give information about the number of visitor’s age from the UK to Spain between 1983 and 2003.
Overall, the figures for tourists 0-15 years old, tourists 16-24 years old, and tourists over 55 years old had an upward trend. In contrast, the percentages for tourists 25-34 years old and tourists 34-54 years old had a downward trend. It can be easily seen that tourists over 55 years old had higher figures than others.
Starting with tourists 0-15 years old, tourists 16-24 years old, and tourists 25-34 years old, which were 10%, 4%, and 20%, respectively, in 1983. Afterward, while the number of group with 25-34 years old decreased slightly to 12%, two groups with 0-15 years old and 16-24 years old increased to 12% and 15%, respectively, in 2003.
50% was the figure for visitor 0-15 years old, in 1983; this was also the highest figure in the graphs. However, there was a dramatic decreased to 35% in 2003 in the data of group with 0-15 years old.
