Overall, Italy will become more aged, evident in a substantial growth in the share of the +60 years part. Yemen also will witness a rise in the ages of the population, regarding a notable surge in the ratio of the 15-59 years group.
By 2050, Yemen will experience a dramatic increase in the portion of middle-aged group from 46.3% to 57.3%, diminishing the portion of children and teenagers by about 13%. Likewise, the share of the old part will slightly ascend from 3.6% in 2000 to 5.7% in 2050.
On the other hand, the ratio of old people will skyrocket in the next fifty years from about one fifth to four tenths. Similarly, the ratio of the individuals, who are less than 14 years, will relatively grow, representing 11.5% by 2050.
