The pie charts compare the age of population, which is divided in three different categories, in Yemen and Italy.
According to the chart which described Yemen age population in 2000, people who 0-14 years old were prevalent, with 50.1%, whereas 15-59 years old people were almost half, at 46.3%,and pensioners who aged 60+ were shown, with 3.6%. However, in 2050, the working age is forecasted to take over the amount of the percentage of the young aged population, which the former will be, at 57.3%, and the latter will be, at 37%.
In terms of Italian chart, the working age was by far the most important percentage in 2000, at 61.6%, whereas the proportion of 60+ aged people was bigger than the young aged people’s. Additionally, in 2050, the percentage of pensioners is expected to increase to 42.3% from 24.1% ,which was in 2000, and the both the proportion of young aged people and working aged people will decrease in 2050.
Overall, the population of Yemen will be more young, while the Italian population will be more elderly in 2050 compared to 2000.
