The four pie charts illustrate data about proportion of revenue from sales earned by selling three distinct types of cars in the USA and the UK in 2005 and speculations for 2005.
It can be clearly seen that the sales of sedan car were highest in 2005 (61%) and are projected to be the most popular type of cars in 2055 (46%) in Britain while the sales of sedan car were in the second rank (46%) and are speculated to rise to 58% in 2055 for the USA.
In addition, the sales of SUV car were the lowest in the UK with the proportion of sales of 14%. Still, they are projected to remain the lowest sales in 2055 (11%). In contrast, the sales of SUV cars in the US were accounted to a half of sales in 2005 and are projected to drop by 13% in 2055.
The sport cars’ sales of 2005 and the projection in the US have the approximately same ratio of sales with the proportion of 4% and 5% respectively. On the other hand, the figure shows the different pattern in the sales of sport car in 2005 and in the future trend: the sales of them were a quarter in 2005 and are projected to experience an increase to 43% in 2055.
