The pie chart compares changes part of energy manufactured from different assets in a nation in 1985 and 2003.
Overall, the proportion of energy manufactured from oil was significantly higher than other types of resources in both years and nuclear and natural gas had the second biggest contribution. Hydro and other renewable energy had the least shares overall.
Focusing on the highest trends, energy produced from oil accounted for the largest proportion in 1985 and 2003 with 52% and 39%, respectively. By 2003, 23% of all total energies produced from natural gas and coal, these are increased, because in 1985, they showed lower trend by 13% of natural gas and 8% of coal.
In contrast, almost a quarter of all energies were produced from nuclear in 1985 and it decreased to 8% by 2003. While, renewable energy had a 1% share of energy manufacture in 1985 and it slight increase to 4% by 2003. This figure was still the lowest share. Hydro remained unchanged with 4% of percentage in both years.
