The chart illustrates changes in the proportion of the energy produced in various resources in a country in 1985 and 2003.
Overall, the oil energy produced was still the highest percentage, despite a significant decreasing. The number of energy produced in Nuclear reduced dramatically while the percentages of energy produced in Natural gas and Coal rosed sharply by 2003.
The changes of the energy produced in Natural gas increased by 10% from 13% to 23% while energy produced in Coal grew steeply by 14% from 8% to 22%. Energy produced in other renewable increased slowly from 1% to 4%.
On the other hand , the percentges of energy produced in Oil fell dramatically from 52% to 39% while the proportion of energy produced in Nuclear reduced sharply from 22% to 8%. And the percentages of produced in Hydro stayed at 4% in 1985 and 2003.
In conclusion, the highest decline was in Nuclear energy produced. Oil produced was also dipped significantly but it was still highest percentage in both years.
