The provided pie charts depict the average propotions of sodium, saturated fats and added sugars that are involved in four types of meal in the USA such as breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Units are measured in percentage.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the percentages of sodium and saturated fat are mostly included in dinner and snacks are made up more sugar.
In terms of dinner, 43% sodium is consisted that is the highest portion in it and followed by 37% saturated fat and 23% added sugar.It is also noteworthy that 42% sugar is added in snacks, however, there are only 21% and 14% saturated fat and sodium respectively.
Turning to breakfast, sodium is included at 14% ,and the amounts of saturated fat and sugar are same, at 16%. Lastly, the percentages of sodium and saturated fat in lunch are similar at 29% and 26% respectively, 19% sugar is added.
