Looking into more details, during dinner, Americans consumed significant amount of sodium and saturated fat 43% and 37% respectively. However, only 23% of added sugar during dinner. The proportion of sodium, saturated fat and added sugar in snacks constituted of 14%, 21% and 42% respectively, where added sugar is significantly higher at this time.
Moreover, sodium consumed during breakfast resided same as in lunch with 14%, whereas saturated fat and added sugar are at 16%. Besides that, sodium and saturated eaten in lunch time are just higher than a quarter with 29% and 26% respectively. However, added sugar resided at 19% during lunch.
