Begin with the lowest percentage with virtually 0% of the users, the rate of refrigerator ended up with the highest percentage with 100% users since 2000. It is also emerged a dominance over the others until 2019. The owner of vacuum shared similar pattern, rose by approximately 70% between 1920 and 2000 then had a stable trend up to the end of the period. However, people who used washing machine showed the highest rate from 40% in 1920, and then went up in a fluctuating manner to just about 60% by 2019 after had a convergence with vacuum cleaner in 1960.
In terms of the total hours of housework per week, its trend moved downwards. In 1920, people did their household about 50 hours every week, it was then going down to around 10 hours every week in 2019.
