The diagrams under consideration represent various indices, connected with education and science, such as average years of schooling, number of technicians and scholars per 1000 people and the amount of money, in billions of US$ that is spent on research. The data is presented in 2 different time spots, 1980 and 1990 respectively.
The main feature, that can be selected from the graph is the fact, that in the industrialized countries every indicator is much higher in comparison to developing countries. Moreover, the situation didn’t change for 10 years, average years of schooling was approximately 2.5 years in 1980 and became 3 years in 1990, while in the developed ones it was slightly more than 8 years and rose up to more than 10 years in 1990.
As for the amount of the subsidy, the trend on decrease of it can be easily defined, in the 1980 the total allocated amount was about 50 billions dollars, while in the 1990 that number fell to only 20 billion. The opposite can be told about industrialized countries, where funding more than doubled during the given period, from 150 billion to 350 billion respectively.
Overall, it can be clearly seen, that in the industrialized countries all given indices are growing fast, while in the developing ones either : this process is slow or the opposite.
