The given pie chart illustrates data on the percentage that bookseller sold five different books from 1972 to 2012.

Overall, adult fiction contributed the biggest segment of sales whereas biography become the smallest at the end of the period

In 1972, adult fiction and biography as well as children’s fiction had the same amount of sale which was 20%. Howaver, adult and children’s fiction slightly rise by 5% and 2% respectively meanwhile biography books had a marced increase of 5% throughout the period

In 1992, travel book sales increase by 3 % and this indicator was 18%. Moreover other kind of books decreased from 25% to 12% during 40 years.

The percentage of adult fiction stood at top of the sold books in 2012 with 45%. Sales of biography declined to 8% in that year.
