Overall, it can be seen that cookery courses experienced an upward trend, while modern language and art courses saw a downward trend. Meanwhile, the fitness and dance category remained relatively stable throughout the period. Starting with two decreasing categories, it is clear that the modern languages group in 1985 accounted for 24% of the total, followed by art courses, with the statistics being 17%. Following local history, this group has same falling trend as music appreciation, although joining rate was double at 15%, it is disappearence in the end of period. On the other hand, new IT courses emerged in the final year of the given period, increasing significantly to 27%. It is noticeable that IT is one of potential fields and has the opportunity to develop in the future.
