The pie chart compares the proportion of the students on a mature education center enroll training program from 1985 to the recent year.
Overall, it can be seen that cookery courses experienced an upward trend, while modern language and art courses saw a downward trend. Meanwhile, the fitness and dance category remained relatively stable throughout the period. Additionally, the IT was introduced thí year, whereas music appreciation and local history courses ceased to exist by 1985.
Starting with two decreasing categories, it is clear that the modern languages group in 1985 accounted for 24% of the total, followed by art courses, with the statistics being 17%. However, the percentage of people joining two course categories decreased slightly to 15% and 17%, respectively. In contrast, the cookery category rose slightly from 14% to 19%, nearly one-fifth of the whole research. It can be seen that adults spend a lot more time taking care of their family than learning or experiencing different cultures in the world.
Regarding the remaining curriculum, fitness and dance courses participation rate showed little to no variation over time, at 22%. Nevertheless, it still has a higher participation rate than art courses. While music appreciation was the lowest enrollment rate, it started from 8% in 1985 and removed in the present year. Following local history, this group has same falling trend as music appreciation, although joining rate was double at 15%, it is disappearence in the end of period. On the other hand, new IT courses emerged in the final year of the given period, increasing significantly to 27%. It is noticeable that IT is one of potential fields and has the opportunity to develop in the future.
