Overall, the percentage of volunteers in the Environment sector and sport sector experienced a substential increase. Conversely, the Education, Art, and other sectors witnessed declines in volunteer participation. As well, Health care had a minor increase all over the period.
To begin with, in 2008, the Environment sector attracted the highest percentage of volunteers, at 21%, which significantly rose to 29% in 2014.
