The preference for specific organizations of volunteers in health care, sport, and environment increased differently over 6 years. Specifically, sports and environmental institutions attracted about 15% to 21% of volunteers in 2008, these percentages then went up to 25% and 29%, respectively, in 2014. Similarly, the percentage of people volunteering in health care experienced a slight growth, climbing from 7% in 2008 to 8% in 2014.
On the other hand, 24% of people decided to choose an educational organization in 2008, making it the highest proportion among all organizations. It then surged to
17% in 2014. Following this, the figure for art organizations accounted for 18% in 2008 but declined to 12% in 2014. Similarly, there was a decrease in the proportion of volunteers by other organizations, dropping from 15% in 2008 to 9% in 2014.
