The pie charts compare the proportion of water used for three various purposes in six regions of the world.
From looking an overall perspective, it can be noticeable that Africa, Central Asia, South East Asia and South America used majority of water resources on agriculture, while North America and Europe used huge amounts of water for industrial purposes.
Taking a more micro-level look at the graph, it is evidence that Central Asia used approximately 88% of water agriculture, and the numbers were closely followed by South East Asia and Africa, roughly 84% and 81% respectively. South America used more water on agriculture than North America, showing 71%, but a latter one spent more water resources for industrial uses than a former region, presenting just under 48%.
As for the proportion of usage of water in Europe, this area spent more than half of water on industrial use and 32% on agriculture. South America and Europe used more water than any other region for domestic purposes, representing 19% and 15% accordingly. Meanwhile, the fewest percentages of water used on domestic and industrial purpose were 9% and 7% in Africa, 7% and 5% in Central Asia.
