Overall, the workforce became more qualified over the two decades. While the bachelors accounted for much smaller numbers in 2010, those who studied art made up the smallest percentage. In contrast, masters remained relatively stable.
Regarding 1990, masters in science constituted 29%, making it the largest group in this year. Following by masters who studied art making up 21%, while first degrees in science and art showed 20% and 15%, respectively. In comparison, only 12% staff owned Ph.D in science, and 2% were Ph.D in art, making it the least common qualification.
By 2010, Ph.D in science had been dominant group, rising to 30%, whereas Ph.D in art showed a little or no increase to by 3%. The proportion of first degree graduates in science and art demonstrated a gradual increase to 11% and 2%, correspondingly. Meanwhile, masters in art increased by 3%, to 23%. Finally, masters in science did not witness any changes, remaining at 29%.
