Nowadays, adult education is growing more than ever. A survey has been conducted on adult education. The chart shows that why old age people decide to study.
The chart illustrates that 40% of the adults decide to study because of their interest in a subject. It is to be noted that it is the major reason among adults to study. Along with that 38% of the adults decide to study because the want gain specific qualifications. 22 % of the adults believe that study is helpful to their current job. 20% of the adults are of the view that study improve their chances of promotion. The same percentage of people study because they enjoy it. 12% of the adults study so that they could be able to change their jobs. The lowest 9% of the adults, study to meet new people make new friends.
The pie chart on the other hand shows how the costs of adult education should be shared. It illustrates that Taxpayer should share 25% of the cost, Individual should share 40% of the costs which is the highest percentage and Employer should share 35% of the cost.
To conclude, in the first chart the highest number of adults study because of their interest in a subject while the lowest percentage of adults study to meet new people.
