The pie charts illustrate the main mode of transport of people who traveled to one university in 2004 and 2009.
Overall, the Car was the most used mode of transport in 2004 whereas the Bus was the highest in 2009. In contrast, the Train was the least widespread method of traveling in both two mentioned years.
First, in 2004, the figure for the usage of cars accounted for over half of the chart while the Bus held the second position at around one-third of the quantity of transport used. Next, the number of bicycle users ranked third with 9%. Moreover, it was apparent that the Walking and Train were the least- used vehicles with humble indicators of 3% and 4%, respectively.
In comparison with the Bus in 2009, which experienced a significant increase in users from 33% to nearly half of the pie chart, the number of car users plummeted to 28%. In addition, the figure for bicycle users also witnessed a slight growth of 5%. On the contrary, the number of train users and bikers stayed virtually unchanged with humble increases of 4% and 6%, respectively.
