The diagrams illustrate the percentage of employees working in manufacturing, sales, and services in Town A and B in the years of 1960 and 2010.
Overall, the manufacturing proportion more than doubled in both towns while the sales proportion declined in both countries. The services percentage decreased in Town A while in Town B it increased.
The number of people who work in sphere manufacture shows 29% in 1960 in Town A. After half a decade it increased by 35%. Similarly, in another town, in 2010, this proportion is more than twice compared with in 1960. At the beginning of this research, it started with almost one tenth while in 2010, it growed by 15% and reached one fourth.
On the other hand, the sales’ workers ratio declined in both countries. In town A, the percentage of employees working in sales started with approximately 40% and decreased until it was one fifth. In town B, the proportion was 70% at the beginning, in 2010 it became 53%.
In services the proportion of workers is different. In Town A, it showed 30% in 1960 while after 50 years it decreased for almost 15%. However, in another town the ratio was one fifth at the beginning, but after half a decade it increased 2% and reached to 22%.
