The pictorial image describes about different process used to recycle glass and plastic bottles.
Overall, recycling of glass and plastic containers is a man made cyclical process, which involves six stages to fully recycled and ready to use.
Firstly, the recyclable material are collected and transported to the recycling unit after 5-10 days, where glass and plastic containers are sorted and recycled separately. After sorting glass by different color, it is then passed through a crusher and then washed in a large container. Using separate machines, the glass particles are melted and given a desirable shape, and finally new recycled glass containers are introduced in the market.
Secondly, the recycling process of plastic bottles is similar to the glass bottle. At first, the sorting of plastic takes place based on thickness and quality of the material. Next, large bundles are formed from these container, and then it passed through the shredder to get fine particle of plastic, and after that it is washed to remove any debris. Ultimately, a large engineering machine melts and reshape the material to form a final product (recycled plastic bottles), which is likely to be thrown after 3-8 weeks after being sold in the market.
