The maps illustrate the change of a tiny museum and its garden through a half of century from 1957 to 2007. From an overall perspective, it is apparent that trees around were lessened, however, the museum became larger.
In 1957, the museum’s surroundings were covered by a variety of trees and there was only a small way to get into the entrance. In contrast, after 50 years, the number of trees was almost removed and there were only two of them behind the building. In addition, the entrance road was eliminated, and a car park was designed to the right of the entrance.
In the first year, two sides of the museum were taken place by local history room and museum storeroom, the national history exhibition was in the centre. The locale other hand, the museum shop in 2007 was moved to the left with the entrance hall, local history room was expanded in the centre after 5 decades and the exhibitions was relocated in the back of the museum. Besides, coffee shop, education centre and reception were installed for educational and economic purposes, the road still remained stable.
