Overall, it is apparent that there were some significant changes, which were side reduction of the natural area and expansion of the museum space. Moreover, more details were added up in order to meet customers’ demand.
In 1957, the museum was constructed at the centre of a large garden. There was a road in front of the building, between the road and the construction was the pathway to lead visitors into the entrance hall. The whole museum contained three main parts, including local history room in the left corner, museum store room in the right corner and national history exhibition in the middle.
From 1957 to 2007, The museum witnessed many adjustments including area enlargement and the addition of several sections. The entrance was transferred to the west of the garden, leading to a museum shop. A new café was opened in the right corner of the building, replaced the old museum storeroom. The local history room located in the heart of the building next to the reception and the coffee shop. In addition, there was a new introduction of a special exhibition area and education center on the eastern side. On the south of the museum in front of it was extra car park, which was constructed to serve customers.
