The given pair of maps displays the modification which had been made to a small native museum and it’s near the areas in years 1957 and 2007. Many changes had been done in museum.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that museum had become more modern and accessible as a result of inclusion of many amenities.
In 1957, entrance hall was at eastern part which had been shifted to western area. Museum had been expanded to add more new facilities. In museum, local history room has been replaced with museum shop and it had been relocated in western part. Moreover,in the eastern side , museum store-room had been converted to big cafe and reception had been developed between museum and cafe.
Furthermore, there had a dedicated area in the northeast for trees which had been significantly cutdown and accommodated other general rooms such as special exhibition and education centre. Garden in the northwest, on the other hand , had not witnessed any changes. In the west-south part, there had lots of trees which had been dramatically removed on the rode side. Two giant trees in the southeast area,in contrast,had been reduced to build new car parking.
