Overall, the entire process can be categorized into three main stages. This continuous cycle includes harvesting plants and trees that use carbon dioxide and sunlight to grow, transforming them into ethanol, and ultimately using it as a fuel for vehicles before the emitted gas is reabsorbed.
Firstly, plants absorb energy from carbon dioxide and sunlight to grow. Once fully grown, they are harvested by industrial machines. Subsequently, they are transported to a pre-processing factory.
In the following stage, the raw plant material is broken down to extract cellulose in the pre-processing factory. Having been collected, the cellulose is transferred to a processing facility to be converted into sugars. This is followed by the addition of microbes. The microbes are introduced into the sugars to facilitate fermentation before producing ethanol.
In the final stage, ethanol is used to fuel various means of transport such as cars, trucks, and planes. When consumed by these vehicles, carbon dioxide is released back into the environment as exhaust emissions. After that, it is absorbed again by trees and plants through photosynthesis to complete the cycle.
