The given diagram demonstrates the procedure through which ethanol fuel is generated.
Generally, the process illustrates how ethanol fuel is generated from corn and water through a procedure consisting of eight steps in order to produce essential fuel distribution to gas stations.
The process commences when corn is grown in the field which meets the standard, they are harvested and then it is delivered in the warehouse in order to store and preserve to be ready for next steps.
At the following stages, employees use a mill so as to grind corn into fine powder. This powder is mixed with water and becomes dough which is cooked for four hours. Once corn has been cooked, it continues a procedure to ferment for 2 days, the mixture of corn in the process of fermentation is separated into two products including the liquid and solid. Subsequently, this liquid is kept and prepared for stages of purifying ethanol in 5 hours where they extract pure ethanol. After this, they are stored and distributed for gas stations by trucks.
