Overall, this process can be divided into six main stages, beginning with the collecting of old products from the recycling bin. This cyclical process allows for the continuous reuse of the glass materials.
At the first stage of the process, consumers need to separate used glass bottles from regular household waste into 2 categories: recyclable and non-recyclable and place the latter into specifically designated recycle bins. Next, these bins are picked up and delivered to a treatment plant, where the glass bottles undergo washing and sterilization
Following this, after being cleaned up, the glass goes to another phase where it is crushed and melted by a heavy machine. Then, this molten glass is molded into new glasses items by a shaping machine. Finally, these new glass bottles are transported and contributed to retail outlets for consumer purchase. Following use, these bottles can enter the recycling loop once more.
