The following diagram shows the process of glass recycling. The process is not linear as the material could be reused several times at each round. The glass must undergo six procedures in order to be used again.
At first, the glass is thrown into the bin which is then collected and delivered to the treatment plant. The glass is subsequently washed from dirt and and go into a sterilisation process to kill and bacteria. After it has been washed, A crushing machine is used to turn it into small parts and then it is turned into liquid state by melting it. Following that, the liquid is taken into the moulding machine to be reshaped and ready to use. At the final part, final product is delivered to the supermarket. All those steps are repeated again once it is collected.
To finalise, The recycling process saves the environment as it mainly depends on using the material more than one time. Moreover, it is very safe to use as it is free of dirts and microbes.
