The given diagram illustrates the recycling process of glass. Overall, it can be seen that it is a cycling sequence and there are six main stages with a variety of machinery.

The first stage involve collecting used glass from household rubbish which are in separated bins. Then the glass is collected by a lorry and taken to a plant where it is treated. After being delivered to the plant, the glass is washed and sterilized in a machine in order to be remade into new products.

Once the bottles are clean they are sent to a machine where are crushed and then melted so the glass turns into liquid. The hot liquid glass is then moulded a reshaped in a moulding machine into new glass bottles. These bottles are then filled and delivered to the supermarket to be sold. The process can then be repeated it self all over again.
