The illustration shows a recycling process of glass bottles that we usually use on a daily basis. There are five important stages throughout the process before they are usable again.
Firstly, a glass bottle that has been used shall be put in a green recycle bin, for the non-biodegradable debris. Some people have the bins in their house, but they also can be found easily on the side of the street. Next, glass debris from the bins will be transported to the treatment plant by specialized vehicle. After that, in the plant, all the glass materials will be washed and sterilized in a huge machine to clean off the dirt left. The next step is when the glass materials will be transformed into other matter. They will be gone through mechanical equipment, designed to crush and then melt the remaining. The heat from the machine will purify the liquid form of glass. Then, the automation system will bring the glass liquid and pour it to a moulding machine, where there are bottle-shaped templates printed in them. Finally, the recycled glass bottle can be used again to contain liquid products and be sold in supermarkets and bought by consumers.
In sum, the recycling process for glass material is achievable if people and government work together to ensure the process runs smoothly.
