The picture illustrates describe how fertilizers (compost) are made from organic waste
Overall, the process comprises a number of steps , beginning with the preparation of organic waste and ending with the formation of compost
At the beginning of the process, a plastic container which has the volume of two cubic meters and many holes in its body for the air to come in is prepared. Subsequently, the organic waste such as food, grass and newspaper are put in, each of which has the height of 15 centimeters in the bottle. After that, nitrogen and hot water are added into the compound of waste, setting up for the next stage
The process continues with the raw materials that have been put in to get heat up in order to start the chemical reactions. Moreover, a bottle cap has been put on to ensure that the exhaust gases from the reactions will get out of the bottle through the holes on the bottle’s body. Finally, the final products get to leave untouched for 6 months in the garden to perfectly form the compost to grow plants, which is the longest step of the process
