The diagram illustrates the developing process of a frog.
Overall, the process includes eleven steps, beginning with frogs’ eggs and ending with the adult frog. Additionally, it can be divided to three major stages such as egg, tadpole and frog.
At the first stage, we can see that female frog lays their spawns under water, which contains the embryo inside. These ones then hatch to tadpoles clinging to water-plant. Following this, external gills are established for breathing before developing tail. After that is appearance of hindlegs for moving toward more easily and lives from food stored in the tail.
At the next stage, there is a lot of changes in the shape with appearance of front legs and becoming shorter in the tail. We can see from the subsequent step, they reach the development of the young frog. In the end, the young frog grows into mature ones and their life cycle starts again with the step of laying their eggs.
