The diagram depicts the steps involved in the life cycle of a frog. Overall, the whole process includes 11 stages, beginning with eggs being laid, to the tadpole formation and finally an adult frog.
In the very first stage, female adult lays a big amount of eggs in the water, which are shortly after becoming embryos. Once the embryos have emerged , they start clinging to water-plants for their livelihood. Over time, external gills appear meant for breathing under the water, after which the creature keeps on growing with a tail becoming longer. As soon as the stage is over, there starts the process of hindlegs appearing begins.
Looking at the nearly formed frog, her tail started rising in size because of lives from food stores, which were eaten recently. Right after, front legs appeared and tail becomes shorter. Finally, the frog grows up, loses its tail, and looks like as usual.
