The diagram describes the life cycle of a frog. In general, there are 6 stages in a frog’s life before reaching maturity. It starts with an egg hatched from an adult frog, eventually progressing to a fully developed form.
In the initial stage, female and male frogs begin the mating process on the ground level. Multiple eggs are then laid by the riverside. The initial eggs develop into tadpoles, which gradually develop more body parts in later stages such as front legs, hind legs, and a tail.
During the ‘Froglet’ stage, frogs begin transitioning their habitat from water to damp ground. These gradual changes over time help frogs adapt to new conditions. The hind legs become stronger, and the disappearance of the tails enables frogs to move on land. Eventually, female and male frogs engage in the mating process to give birth to a new generation.
