The picture illustrates the cycle of life of the female mosquito. Overall, a period of growing consists of 7 stages and 7-8 weeks to become fully grown insect from eggs. They all are shown in the picture
Firstly, the life of female mosquito starts when it is in egg. After exiting from egg first larval stage begins. During second and third larval stage insect becomes bigger. The next fourth larval stage is the last period of growth in size. The pupal stage takes place on the sixth week, when animal curles up. On the last stage mosquito evolves into adult animal and changes signifacantly, for example wings and legs appear.
In conclusion, the life cycle of such insect has 7 stages and about 7-8 weeks to be completed. Its life starts from eggs, then 4 stages of larval period take part, and in 2-3 weeks it evolves into adult.
