The diagram illustrates the process by which a life cycle of the honey bees. Overall, the honey bees passes through six main stages of life, beginning with depositing eggs and taking 34 to 36 day to reach their final maturity form, whereas most of this time is passed during the process of becoming young adult about 21 days.

In beginning the females honey bee lay 1 or 2 eggs every three days. Before honey bees hatch, they need to stay in the eggs for 9 to 10 days. When honey bees have been grown, they undergo nymph moulting in three different stages of their life, each of which takes 5, 7, and 9 days, respectively.

In the final stage after about 31 days the honey bees become young adult and they just need 4 days to become their final forms as maturity insects, before becoming to the females to lay its eggs, and the cycle will begin again.
