The semantic diagram demonstrates the various stages of silkcloth production through silkworm.
Overall, life cycle of silkworm completed within four different stages from laying eggs to the cocoon formation while the production involved five different processes.
Firstly, the mature silk lays it’s eggs on the leaf which becomes larva after 10 days. The larva feeds on the mulberry leaf within 4-6 weeks started to form the silk thread then after 3-6 days cocoon is formed. After that period the cocoon transformed in moth within 16 days which again continued the life cycle as same .
Switching to the production of silk cloth the process involved selection of the best cocoon and boiled into a water . Following the procedure the cocoon unwind forming the 300-900 m long thread. The thread are then twisted and weaved by the machines or manually. Lastly they are colored as per the market demands and supplied to the markets or manufactured companies.
