In the first step, the farmer plants sugar cane 12 -18 months before harvesting, which can be done by people or machines. Following this, they use a specialized machine called the crusher machine, which has large roller presses to crush sugar cane and make juice from it. The next step is to the juice will be refined with a limestone filter. The subsequent step is evaporation, during the resulting juice is heated and thickened to make syrup
The sixth step in the sugar-producing process is crystallization: the crystals are spun in a centrifuge to remove the liquid and produce raw sugar. Finally, the sugar is dried and cooled before being packed and shipped to grocery stores or other consumption
