Sugar is an essential component in our food. The given process diagram provides the production of sugar from a raw material.

Firstly, the sugarcane is grown between the period of a year- one and a half year. Then, they are harvested by using capital intensive or labour intensive method. After it has to undergo the crushing and purifying method. In crushing, the sugarcane are crushed using machine and are converted into liquid. In purifying, the juice is filtered using a limestone filter.

After that, the juice is being evaporate to convert into syrup and then this syrup is centrified to separate sugar crystal from syrup. Once the crystals are separated, these sugar are kept in a large clyndrical container where they are being dried and cooled to the room temperature.
