The chart illustrates how sugar is produced from the sugar canes. There are seven main steps in the process of producing sugar beginning with growing sugar canes and ending with drying and cooling sugar.
At the first step, sugar canes are planted on the farm within 12-18 months. Secondly, in the harvesting period sugar canes can be cut by farmers or by a machine with high productivity. At the next stage, sugar canes are pushed into the crushing machine. In this stage, sugar cane juice is collected, while the bagasse in this step is used to make organic fertilisers.
Raw juice is then to be filtered in a large funnel to eliminate limestones and purifying juice is gotten from this stage. Afterwards, pure juice is evaporated under heat in the boiler to make juice become syrup. The following stage, the above syrup is transferred to the centrifuge machine where sugar crystals are separated from syrup. The final step is finished products such as drying and cooling sugars.
