This diagram communicates how the bottles made from plastic are recycled.
In the first step, a community shares a single dustbin where they accumulate all the plastic bottles of the locality. Then a special truck is responsible for collecting all the plastic bottles from the pre-defined area. Then all the plastic bottles reach the recycling centre where the plastics are sorted based on the quality of plastic.
The fourth step involves compression of the plastics bottles into blocks by the application of force by pistons. The next includes the utilisation of grinding machineries to crush the plastics into small pieces where it gets eventually washed to filter out any impurities.
The next stage is the production of plastic pellets which are later heated at high temperature to form the raw material. This raw material is packed into packets and stored in a place where they’ll be put to use for making various kinds of end products. This concludes the process of recycling of plastic bottles right from scratch to the end products.
