The drawing provides infomation about steps that need to be taken in order to generate electricity. Overall, the entire procedure consists of three major steps, including the blending of raw materials, the treatment of syngas, and the producing of electric.
The first stage begins with the combining of initial materials that will later be used for the generating process. Specifically, coal from mines and oxygen extracted from factories are mixed in a furnace, which creates raw syngas for the next step and slag as a byproduct.
At the next step, raw gases undergo a process of filtering, whereas CO2 and mercury sulphur are removed, leaving the gases purified. The purified syngas then becomes ingredient for gas turbine, which generates hot exhaust gases to make the heat recovery steam generator work. The steam is then created for the final production, while the flue gases are released.
Moving on to the final stage, steam plays as the main element for steam turbine, which connected to a generator, generates electricity. The end product of these stages is electricity that would later be used again to create electric.
