Looking at the diagram more closely, one can see that ocean water is being exposed under the sun, through out the time making it evaporation and form into clouds. If the water that firm in the clouds is too much, it begins to fall down, create rain.
From this stage onward, human begin to involve in the generation. To begin with, they collect rain water in reservoir along with a dam keeping the water in. The large amount of water produced power by running a turbine, result in high voltage electricity. After this phase, the water pump back to the reservoir for later usage, making a cycle process. The water flows can also control with a valve by opening or closing.
In the final step, hydro-electric is transfer to transformer station which then supply for various destinations by caples underground.
