The image presents diagrams of the water supply system in Australia, comparing the present and the future systems through two simplified flowcharts. In both the "Present water supply" and "Future water supply system" charts, water flows from the labeled source "River" into a "Water treatment plant" then subsequently is distributed into three branches labeled as "Households," "Shops," and "City" under "Dam/Storage." Besides the treated "Pure water," the system also handles "Storm water" and "Waste water," which are illustrated as outputs from the "City" section back into the river. There are no numerical data points, percentages, or significant distinctions between the present and future system structures in the diagrams; changes between present and future are not specified in the flowcharts.
Given the complexity of the image, the above description may not be entirely accurate.

The given diagram illustrates of how the system of water supply works at present time and in near future in Australia.
In general, it is seen from the diagram, that there are four stages in the whole in the current water supply process. Beginning with the dam or storage of pure water, ending with flowing storm water from particular places to the river.
To begin with present water supply, the water is stored in dam, then pure water is transferred, to cities, which used by households, shops and factories. Following by, the watse water from storage and partly from city is directed to the plant treatment of water, where it is collected. Afterwards, the consumption of water used in city flow straightly to the river.
Moving forward, to the future water supply system we can see that the pure water similarly will be storage in dam. Transmitting to the city again used by citizens for their staffs, the waste and storm water will be transmitted to the water plant treatment. In this place the process will be slightly changed, where the pure water will be recycling and then shifted to the city.
