The diagram illustrates different stages in the process of producing smoked fish.
Overall, the process comprises a number stages, starting with the net catching of fish ending with the final products distributed for sale.
The first step is to catch fish at sea with large nets, after that the fish are transported by boat to the port where the are frozen to ensure that their freshness is maintained. Subsequently, the fish are thawed and put into fresh water for preparing to cut up. Once the fish are cut into proper pieces, they have to be submerged in salt yellow colouring water for flavouring before being smoked in a special machine.
The process continues with the smoked fish being packaged into boxes. After packaging, the fish are frozen to preserve their taste. Finally, the finished products are kept in cold storage and then distributed by trucks to fish shops for selling.
