The picture illustrates information about how fish pies are made on a large commercial scale in the firm.
Overall, the process of producing fish pies appears to be (to not have errors in accuracy) composed of 19 main steps which can be divided into 3 distinct sets of processes. In the first part, potatoes are prepared, while in the second and last parts fish is cooked and the pies are packaged.
Focusing on the first part, the first thing that needs to be done is the delivery of freshly harvested potatoes (they must be no more than a month old) to the factory. After being transported to the facility, the potatoes are washed before having their skin peeled off. The peeled potatoes are then sliced and boiled. Following the boiling stage, the cooked potatoes are left to cool down for some time and then packaged and stored for future use.
Turning to the second part of the process, salmon fish (that’s been caught no more than 12 hours ago) is firstly transported to the factory where it is seasoned with appropriate amounts of lemon juice and salt. After seasoning, the fish is steam-cooked in oven till it is ready and after that the cooked fish is skinned and all the bones are pilled out by factory workers. In the following step, the cleaned fish passes through inspection to make sure the fish meets the set standards. Once the inspector has checked the fish, it then proceeds to be mixed with some pre-made peas as well as sauce. In the final step, the mixture is mixed with the previously cooked potatoes.
In the last stage of the process, factory workers wrap up the fish pies and pack them into boxes after which those boxed are sent into a freezer. After being frozen, the fish pies are either stored or delivered to customers.
