Given is the diagram illustrating the process in which online food shopping is performed.
Overall, it can be clearly seen from the diagram that the process is a man-made, linear process, which consists of eight distinct stages, commencing with the selection of food products and culminating with the delivery of them to customers.
In the initial stage of the process, food lists which are based on a particular application are exhibited on an electronic device. After that, customers can add their choices to shopping basket. Subsequently, the information is received in a warehouse by a specialized computer. Once the order is received, the products are selected by two specific methods, such as human or robot.
When the stage is completed, the food products are hand-packed by staff. At this point, an advanced printer is used for printing receipts. To bring the process to a close, a dedicated vehicle is prepared to undergo the delivery process to customers.
